Registering a 250

Do you have to register a 250 as a commercial vehicle given its weight or can it be reg'd as a passenger vehicle if that is what it is being used for?

I answered you on the other thread, but imagine that you need to check with your states DMV (or whatever the acronym they use there is). FWIW - Mine is registered as a passenger vehicle.

If you use as a work truck like your own buisness I would say commercial if not the passenger it will all depend on how it is used.

Because of the 8800gvwr, in CT, it is commercial. Upside is less emissions restrictions. Downside is they closed until next year. Who knows what they'll change.
