A plan purchase question?

To give you an idea, I can buy A Plan via my Brother-in-Law and his wife both. A $42k MSRP 2002 hard loaded SD would have been about $35k on A Plan (I was looking, and still may). A good selling vehicle like the SD isn't discounted as much as some are. My Expy was A Plan priced between $7k and $8k off a MSRP of about $40k. At the time the Expy was the deepest discounted on A Plan.

D Plan
I just purchased an F250 XLT V10 Crewcab FX4 4X4 with leather, and all the options on D Plan. D Plan is for employees and thier family. The price was $30,6??.?? on the plan, while sticker (MSRP)was around $39,000 (I think it was $38,8??.??).
Either way, it's a smokin' deal - buy 2 they're cheap!

Purchase Plan
Firedude:
Don't be upset, but you didn't get your truck for an "A Plan" price. As I said in an earlier post, I just purchased a 2003 F250 that stickered (Ford MSRP, not add on sticker) for almost $39,000 and paid $30,600 for it. Based on the numbers you posted, you got about an "X Plan" price - X Plan is for Ford venders and company employees that Ford has "partnered" with. In fact, they have an 800 number to "Ford Partners" where you can get info.
If you just purchsed the truck, I suggest you get your family members PIN number and call Ford Partners - give them the stock number off the window sticker and I'll bet you find that you paid X Plan price, not A or D plan... X Plan is right around invoice, while A and D are about $2500 to $3500 below invoice.
In short, I paid $30,600 not including the rebates - all-in-all I paid $30,600 minus $2000 in rebates, plus tax, license, and extended warrantee (which I paid $1300 for the Ford Premium "bumper to bumper" out to 75,000 miles). And got the 4.9 or 5.9 APR (I forget which).
A dealer down the street from my house told me that they would "take care of me... and get me D Plan." When I asked the sales manager the D Plan price, he said "It's about $2000 off sticker." I ended up buying the truck at the dealer where my mother-in-law works for the price above. The Moral - sales guys will tell you "sure, it's a D Plan deal, but you better be careful."
Sorry my post is so long - I just don't want any other readers to get *******ED like I almost did, and like I'm sure so many sales guys have...
Feel free to email me if you have further question: brandonw@socal.rr.com

Investigated
Well i am not upset, but i did have to dig out my paper work. And like i said it was A Plan price. The actual #'s are:
Total MSRP $33,645.00
A/D Plan $28428.68
X Plan $29715.82
I dont need my family members to get my pins, I work for Ford Motor and I had the A plan price ran threw, and it was right. I have bought 3 new vehicles this year from 3 different dealers and i have never gotten a bad # from any of them. You wont find to many dealers around here (FORD COUNTRY) giving wrong #'s, since they will lose there a plan selling rights.
I have to ask this, If your truck sticker was 39000, and you paid 30600 than that is around 8000 less. ( you got a heck of deal) but like you said a/d plan is usually 2500-3500 under invoice. as you can see my difference is 5216.32. Yours was 8000. Know wonder my stocks are only 9 bucks a share.
So after that my total plus tax, plates, payoff ins. Minus 2500 in rebates, was $28098.80, out the door.
Also here we cannot get rebates plus cheap int rates. you pick one or the other. So i got loan from bank and got rebates from fords. Not saying you couldnt get both out there, since rebates and rates change across the country.
Have a nice Holiday season to all !!!!!!!!!!!
