I used to swim for my HS also by the way, it keeps you in good shape for other sports ...a overall great work out. You should be able to find a *couple* new GFs on your team im sure.

Anyways, I swim usually 50 & 100 Free. I've been known to swim 200 IM & 100 Back. So far this season, I've taken first in 200 Medly Relay, 200 Free, 200 IM, 50 Free, 100 Fly, 100 Free, 500 Free, 200 Free Relay, 100 Back, 100 Breast, 400 Free Relay. Yeah, all the events! I've even got the newspaper clippings to prove it
At conference, Districs, and State I'll be swimming the 50 & 100 Free and 200 & 400 Free Relay.

dayum , I only swam a few events...I was good but lazy and hard to control sorta speak.. we didnt have a ton of guys on our schools team so they couldnt dump any of us for not going to practice and such... we did have many fine females on our team though for inspiration. I think they knew I was only there to stay in shape for hockey, and because I like to race in general.
I swam the 200 IM a LOT, I used to get really sick sometimes afterwards from lack of oxygen when I would get out of the pool. I did a lot of 50 meter sprints in singles and medlys, quite a few 200 free events. I was really only good at fly and free, everything else was ok but not very fast. I used to lose a lot of time on my IM on my back stroke which really pissed me off... I would be in first until I had to do back stroke...then I would end up in 3rd or something lame.
My school won districts 3-4 years in a row, I went to states twice.

Joe, I know this is easy for me to say, but you will survive. You've got college, work, and lots of fun ahead of you. Don't even think of getting tied down this soon. She may have been a wonderful girl, most of them are, but it's better for both of you. A good woman will come along when you least expect it. I know it did for me.
Okay, my wife was reading over my shoulder, she's gone now. Run, run or swim away as fast as you can. They are evil! You can only trust your Buds and your wheels.....
Ah, heh,heh.... just a little joke Joe, women are wonderful, can't think of how to get through a minute of life without one. The make us whole. You will go through your entire life empty till you find another great woman...
Okay, she was back for a minute, she's gone again. This has to be quick... Fly man, don't listen to them, they will corrupt your mind....
Ah, hi honey, yeah just joking with him..... Okay, I'm logging off now.... Right Dear....

Last year we won districts, the two years before that we placed 2nd. We won conference my sophmore year, and Fresh & Junior year we placed second. I made it to state last year, relay only though, I was pretty sick when finals came and only placed 4th in my 50 and 100, top three go to state. I'm hoping for better this year
