Ford THUNDERBOLT..Saweeet!!!
Anybody remember the Ford Thunderbolt? I found a couple while surfing the net and thought I would share the info.

I remember one sitting in a dealer's showroom in 1964 in the Chicago area. Used to watch them race at US30 Dragstrip, Oswego and Union Grove. Now that I live in Ohio, a friend of mine has a beautiful Thunderbolt clone with a dual quad 428 CobraJet in it. He takes it to a lot of local car shows and really draws a crowd.

Sorry, no photos. Even if I did, I wouldn't know how to attach or post them.
His car is blue...If I remember right, all the originals were available in either white or burgundy. His is also tubbed with a narrowed 9". The 428 is built, but I don't know what all he's done to it besides a cam and head work. He's talking about maybe injecting it.
