I am new to f150online, however for the past 3 years I've been poping in once and while and reading the great informative post.

I own a 2001 SuperCrew 5.4 V-8 4X4, with 40,000Kms.
The only problems I have encountered with my truck was a
"stuck" thermastat and a set of front pads.

(The low kms are from being off work for a year with a lame leg, that is now surgically fixed, I normally drive 20K a year)

Here is my question, is it worth getting a Ford extended warranty? I am planning to keep this truck till it dies.

Powertraincare 29 for: (canadian funds with a $50 detuctable.)
6year/120km $1470
7year/120km $1665


Basecare 84 for:
6/120km $1610
7/120km $2270

Can I get a better deal than this by other Canadian Ford dealers?
