p.s
Did you mean "Whoever said I was a liberal?" like 'hey, I ain't'?

Or did you mean "Whoever said I was a liberal?" like 'hey, who ratted me out?

lol, you're a trip. I meant... 'hey, I ain't' A strong 'ain't', at that. That's like accidentally calling Henry Ford the "bowtie on America's tux."

Uh oh, a conservative of the female persuasion.

OK I'll try to hit on each of the posts:

Reason: Looks sharp, and protects from rocks and bug guts that eat the paint if not washed off immediately. Hopefully it may also stop a few of the big yellow ones that always seem to cover the windshield in front of the driver seat at the beginning of any long trip.

So, Does the bugflector II have any clearance between the hood and the deflector, I'm looking for one that won't even touch the paint.

TUFF FORD- that's a good looking deflector. What did it run you, and, is there any clearance between the hood and the deflector? Oh yea, and it's for my 2003 SuperCrew.

Ford, Ventshade, and bugflector.....any others??? Time to go shopping.

Thanks

I don't know if my Bugflector hurts the paint or not, I have never had it off to look, and I don't ever intend on having it off. It has these little clear things that stick onto the hood that keep it from touching the hood, but down at the bottom edge of the hood, it probably does touch.
Mine blocks bugs from the windshield the whole way, not just the bottom part, but I have the Lund Solar Visor, too, so maybe they work together and throw most of everything over the top of the truck and into the bed.

Feel free to replace 'bug deflector' with whatever is appropiate at the time and cut-n-paste the diatribe into any GD thread.

(don't use it in other forums though or we could both get banned)
Oh, ok, I had figured you just lifted it from me...

You are right. I read Ford Lariats question about the bug deflector, hit the reply button, sat there in front of that blank screen and thought to myself,
"Now, what would Burt say if he had missed his medication..."

I don't use no stinkin' bug deflector because they don't "look cool"

I remember walking to school when I was a kid, I would only wear a jean jacket and sneakers during the worst blizzard.
Why? Because the cool factor was more important than being warm.

All the other kids would arrive at school all bundled up, they would have their hat on, a scarf, mittens, big *** parka, and then there was "Habibi", frozen to the bone, eye lids frozen open, but looking ultra cool with his North Star running shoes, and Levis jeans and matching jean jacket.

I urge everyone to lose their bug deflectors and join me in the pursuit of looking cool!!

Who's with me???

I also think they look better without, Habibi.

Please disregard, FL.
I just found out how old you were.

p.s.
No one below the age of 25 should label themselves as a Conservative.
You will have many years later in life to become bitter, don't rush it.

From who did you find out?

Growing up with Conservative parents, I can clearly side more with their views than a Liberal. (Not necessarily frowning there, I just want the shrug.) lol

From you.

I just banter back and forth with anybody like a social butterfly.
Some names I recognize, some not, it's usually not really important or germane to the subject.

As the thread progressed I discovered you were a female and later I looked at some of your previous posts. A little over a year ago you invited everyone to your 'cyber' 16th birthday party here. So, I took off my shoe, did some cypher'n and calculated you are 17.

At that point I realized I had made inappropiate comments about you and 01 XLT Sport.

Well, you and I know it was inappropiate, Burt didn't think so but, you have to consider that his prom date in high school was an Italian girl named Gina Statutory.
