i was watching tv earlier (cant remember what channel). the show was called Kings of the Road. most of the cars they had were Fords. they had the COMBAT, SmarTruck, EX, and Bigfoot

COMBAT - a truck designed for the military to replace the HumVee. its a F-350 body with everything else inside different. it has things like a lift thing that you can set on a computer inside that will raise the body of the truck to what you want. it has a tire pressure tool on the computer that allows you to change the tire pressure to fit the terrain your driving on. the computer has an extremely advanced navigation system that allows you to see where your going, and the type of terrain so you can modify the body height and tire pressure. very nice truck. been put through "boot camp" and has been approved by the military for use. will eventually drive out the HumVee. there was also a model of the Chevy 3500 made for military use.

SmarTruck - imagine the vehicles James Bond drives. that is like the SmarTruck. the truck is designed for transporting very important people. the truck is yet again using the F-350 body. the truck is completely bulletproof and can stand a round of .44 Magnum shots. now heres the good parts. if there is a crowd of people swarming the truck there are small gun like things around the roof that pop out by selecting it on the computer in the truck. these guns pop out of the roof and shoot pepper spray 12 feet in every direction. another nifty feature is it in the door handles. if someone tries to open the doors it sends a powerful electric charge through them that surely knocks them back. next we move on to the primary weapon (lots of fun). another space opens up on the rood and out comes, get this, a grenade launcher. it shoots small percussion grenades that arent extremely powerful but its powerful enough to destroy a vehicle blocking the way with a few grenades. lots of fun. there is currently one of these in existence and they say they are planning on making several more.

EX - a former concept vehicle that has made it into production. basically its a dunebuggy made by ford. made for those rough desert runs. said to be an extremely smooth ride considering the terrain your driving on. you can find more information on the Ford EX HERE.

Bigfoot - everyone knows Bigfoot, i dont think i need to elaborate on it.

 

here is an update on the SmarTruck i found. it is mainly an anti-terrorism vehicle and used for the Department of Homeland Security. in total the vehicle has almost $10 billion worth of equipment in it. the truck mas many more features than i listed. it has a laser gun (yes, for real, a laser), an advanced nightvision system, a 50x zoom video system with a thermal imaging system and surveillance radar, cameras covering 360 degrees (including one under the truck, and a 12,000 hydraulic winch. there is also a metal, bullet proof brush guard covering the grille. it also litters the road with tacks and oil slicks.
