I was trying to decide what to get my dad for his birthday but when I saw this recent pic of him



I knew what I had to get:

A snorkel!

But I dunno where to get one. And I dunno if it will effect the performance of his jeep at all. After all it seems by making the intake longer the air will have a harder time flowing.

So my question is this, good idea for my dads 50th bday? and where can I get one if so. And if I should get one will you all pitch in a dollar so I dont have to pay for it.

You can also try www.quadratec.com and www.4wheelparts.com for more Jeep stuff. BTW, with a snorkel, you are brining in fresh air that is cooler than underhood air, so it should actually help with performance. Theorectically at least.
