How many teams are there in the league now, 26? It won't be the Lightning's turn to win until about 10 years after they fold and move. Good luck Florida but I have to pull for Calgary. If they lose it was because they took too many stupid penalties. I thought the Lightning would be out of energy before now. Really too close to call.

Rooting against the "Lightning" is never wise. For shame! All you Calgary fans must now trade your Fords for Dodges

Sing with me now...God bless AMERICA, land that I love...

and the cup stays in america. sorry canada, you put up a damn good fight, but lacked in offense, which caused your downfall. it was a great game though.

Calgary lost, may be if they had decided to play 60 mim instead of The last 10 mim in game 7, last game of the year, the out come would have been better, But...Canadian's are the best hockey player's in the world ( Craig Conroy is My number 1 Flame, and he's from the USA )

The best Tampa players were Canadian's, and threw out the NHL in High market US teams, the best Player's are Canadian's so it not abought us vers them any more....

Hat's off to Tampa, Calgary Flames accomplised alot this year and in terms of pay roll Calgary is verry much a small market team, Look at The Rangers Payroll......More Money In Tampa, Than Calgary, Will get it back if the Player's don't Strike......

Canadians?

Tampa Bay Lightning Roster:

15 Canadians
7 Europeans
3 Americans (none from Florida by the way)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!! GO TAMPA! They deserved it for sure, at least they have some class and don’t throw cheap
%#$*'en hits when they are losing...Calgary is a bunch of cry baby losers..... I love how Iginla was arguing over the last penalty...it was sooo blatant, I thought he was going to break into tears.

Calgary played a cheap series...and they lost like they deserved. As for the 8$ ticket thing... I don’t know where you got your info from...they sold a few hundred at that price one time...but it was a publicity thing, and the free shirt thing was a good idea... Philly did it when we played them...and so did Calgary for that matter...just more people had jerseys to wear in Calgary.....I would hope so....seeing as hockey is all Canadians have to do up there.... were too busy partying to care right now anyhow

SUCKERS!!!!

You can call Calgary whatever you want, but they should have won during game 6 when they actually scored. The picture is all over the newspapers here. Calgary deserves the cup!

typical...I knew someone would complain about that.... thats the game though buddy.... its not like Calgary got all the penalties they should have...that *could* also have changed things....or maybe if they werent such babies they could have pulled it together at the end last night.... bottom line, game seven was a clean slate for both teams...Calgary didnt play it out right, so the right team won.

So, shouldn't the Cup spend 7 months in Canada 4 months in Europe and 1 month in the US?

Hey, I was just hav'n fun.

You have every right to be proud of your teams accomplishment.

Tampa Bays Canadians kicked Calgarys Canadians butts as the score clearly indicates.

I know you were, but its not a Canadian team vs. a US team thing to me... its the idea that the cup is in Florida and not Canada or one of the richey teams... like detroit

Canada is going to get their glory come the World Cup, the US roster is far from awsome this time around... half our big names are 35+ years old now
