What do you mean it's been a long time coming. You've only been in the leaque for 11 years, and I doubt they will be adding to their trophy collection tonight. I'll even make you a bet. Obviously I am betting on Calgary, just because I am Canadian, but I still think Calgary sucks, anyhow the bet is $50.00 and the loser (which will be you) writes a check to my local Boys and Girls Club. In the extreme unlikely event that I lose, I would be happy to donate to your local Boys and Girls Club or whatever charitable organization you chose.

C'mon put your money where your mouth is.

.... you canadians get so bent out of shape, ..I do think its funny how so many canadians (I know quite a few locally) dislike calgary...even when pitted against a "US" team.
11-12 years is plenty of time believe me.... ask anyone in Tampa who is a real fan and they will tell you the pain we have shared... you have to understand we barely even made the playoffs the last time..... its a big damn deal for us.... its like when the Bucs won....but not quite as crazy...Tampa had always had bad luck, but these last 2 years have changed that.

I already have enough money riding on tonights game to take any more...besides...I have no clue who are...and I dont play that way. No matter what its been an awsome series... Im proud our team even made to the finals.... but its time to put it to bed, and what better place then at home.

CHICKEN!!!!!!! Won't even take a bet that would benefit charity. Don't get your skirt caught in your truck door next time you get in it.

Just came in from the pool. Had to cool off, it's 94* with 90% humidity out there!!!
I'm in the mood for a good hockey game...

Don't worry Konig, We taught those Canadians everything they know about hockey

Can't root against any team called "Lightning"

I'm not a Flames fan but I would like to see the cup go back to Canada.

What's Calgary's annual salary compared to Tampa?

It's cool when teams that aren't stupid rich (detroit..colorado..) make it to the end!!

Any Game 7 is fun to watch!

Im no crazy super die hard lightning fan....but I love hockey and have been watching / attending games since the second season, and its nice to see the city get behind its team...flag wavers or not, better than an empty forum I guess

Lets just hope that it is a fairly called game, and yes I do think one of the three blind mice ruled wrong in game six. That puck was in doggonit. Everyone knows that Gary Bettman likes the alternative lifestyle clubs in Palm Beach.

Hey Konig aren 't those clubs in your state?

you cant say Calgary doesn't have real fans. We pay $200 to go to a playoff game and everyone in the bleachers has a jersey or a tshirt which they paid mega bucks for....unlike tampa where they had to give away free shirts so they had some team spirit...aren't your games like $8 to watch!!? GO CALGARY!
