this may be out of line, but most of this stuff could be avoided if people would just slow the heck down! every car i know of now comes from the factory with the ability to exceed the speed limit, and it seems like a lot of people sure try to peg them out every time they get behind the wheel.

i commute 16 miles to work, and drive 60 tops (55 mph zone). i constantly have everything from motorcycles to log trucks blow by me at 80 or better. lotsa tailgaters out there too. i just don't understand what the rush is....in 16 miles, you save 4 minutes in commute time. (80 mph vs 60 mph)
