Polished or Chrome???

Ok Guys and Gals. I know its totally up to me in the end and everyone likes something different, but Im curious as to what everyone thinks and looking for opinions. I want to put the 6Piece grill insert and the bottom fill in on the truck and I also want to put new wheels on it. Probably just gonna stick with an 18" and some 33's.

What do you guys think will look better on my truck...Chrome or Polished grill and wheels?

Chrome. Polished is a PITA to keep shiney on a daily driver. It's for garage queens.

Brew, since you have no other chrome on your truck, I would go with the polished. I'm weird like that.

Just my $.02.

I know I was thinking the same thing. but since I havent done anything to mod the appearance. Would it look good to do both chrome wheels and grill? Or will that not look good on the truck. Im worried about the black running boards matching and im not gonna change them.

I hate making decisions like this.

I know what you mean. These aren't cheap decisions. See if anyone has a truck similar to yours with some aftermarket chrome or polished wheels in the '04-'05 "gallery" thread.

I would still go with the polished. I mean the blazing yellow already stands out a lot. You might over do it with the chrome. Once again, just my opinion.

Polished grill fine, polished wheels pure evil. You'll kick yourself everytime you look at your polished wheels during the winter. Trust me.

I'd actually opt for a stainless steel grill w/ brushed AL wheels or coated of some kind...

Or a nice chrome grill w/ wheels. It would spice up the FX4 (if your into some chrome).

Actually, I take that back... get a wheel like this w/ a brushed or SS grill:

D, thats a pretty sweet wheel. Can you post the link for it? I like both polished and chrome pretty much equally, thats why Im asking for some opinions. Anyone have chrome wheels and live near salt water? Ive heard the salt air will kill the chrome in about a year.

Zoltan... I see what your saying. It may be to "BLING BLING" for me

Brew,

With a bright color as yellow I would go with polished or as Dz said brushed stainless. Personally just think chrome would clash with the bright yellow.

Do really like those wheels there Dz, have to go see if I can find a place to put them on the truck and see how they look.

Sled...

Hey man, the answer is easy...

Look, you bought a "screaming yellow" truck so it would get noticed right? That's right!
The truck looks good, you know it, everyone knows it, so finish what you started andfinish it right.

Chrome wheels, chrome grill, then you can add other chrome peices later (fuel door cover, antenna, 3rd brake light...

Pimp that ride and bring the bling, don't be shy now,it's toolate for that.

check out the 'wheels deals'section on centerline's site, they have some nice chrome for your truck for under 200 each.

www.centerlinewheels.com

Chrome is so easy to maintain.

Regards
