i'm glad i'm not the only one who feels "there watching me" when i wash my truck.....everyweekend of course. sometimes twice a week if it rains monday like it has been. then of course i stand back, hava bud light, and admire the beauty that is Ford F-150.
as far as pet peevs go, do NOT lean over the truck to "look into" the bed, theres nothin in there people, stop trying to scratch my truck with your damned belts!
there i feel better now, iv'e said it.

Detailing qwirk that I've mentioned on here SEVERAL times...

WHEEL WELLS...

Why would you want to go through a 6+ hour detail and not black out your wells? It takes all of about a minute and makes a HUGE difference in overall appearance!

I'm another one of the "all of the above" people

- Close the door with the HANDLE
- WASH your Wheel Wells
- Nothing on the Dash Board
- Do not lean on the side of my truck
- *Do not wear a Chevrolet, Dodge, Nissan or Toyota shirt/hat/jacket within a 50ft radius of my truck.
- When you get out of my truck, take everything you brought into my truck. This includes trash, book bags, drinks, jackets etc. etc.
- Do NOT touch anything without permission

*The only item excluded from this rule is my Meguiars t-shirt that has a picture of a 57 Chevrolet Bel Air on it.

Anyone who is found in violation of these rules will find out how many steps it takes to walk where I am driving

Oh and you folks can thank RockPick for the Wheel Well rule. This guy starts complaining about how peoples wheel wells look. So I go out and detail my truck, get my back wheel wells all white again and my front wheel wells nice and black. Now I get upset if they are not nice and clean.

If I get raised white letter tires, I make sure that the tire guy lines the letters up so they are the same on all four wheels. As long as the rear tires don't spin, I'm okay.

Actually you have to make an equal number of left and right turns at the same radius or the tires on one side won't match the other.

You have got to reverse your route exactly every time to keep them straight.
You can do it, you've just got to!

Today, as I was washing it, I caught myself removing pieces of the plastic trim so I could clean them better...

Wow... what have I become?

Ok
How about this.
When Im done detailing, I bring all my products inside and then I DETAIL THE CLEANING PRODUCTS, BUCKETS AND CARRYING CASE!

Right down to the caps on each product.....its sickening.

Just have to keep it clean, wash, detail, and dust. The pollen and dust just have to be kept off. YOU know a few minutes after cleaning the dust is just unbearable.
