As of right now, I have Nextel I710. But unfortunately, I will no longer have the Nextel probably by the middle of next week. I already have my new phone which is a Nokia 6200 and is through Cingular. My preference would be to have absolutely NOTHING to do with Cingular/AT&T. I hate that company after we were screwed over big time by them. But I have no choice but to go with the new phone because it is my company phone and I am not going to complain because its free. Just like I don't complain about driving a Chevy car, because it and gas and maintenance is all free. The company decided that everyone should have the same phone and the same plan because it was the "best choice".

Did I mention that I HATE Cingular/AT&T

Sprint. PDA6600 Phone with 2000 minutes shared between 3 phones at 115/month total. Unlimited off-peak minutes, long distance, roaming, pcs-to-pcs.

For anyone on sprint, get the roaming add on (Freedom America I think) for $5. It allows you to roam onto Verizon system at no extra charge; well worth it. Also, I work a large unnamed company, so I get 25% off my total Bill. Many people are offered big discounts if they work for certain companies!

Same here! I just see no real reason to get one, I hate talking on the phone and I don't want people to be able to interrupt me when I'm out doing something fun. I don't even answer the phone at home when it rings sometimes, isn't that what the answering machine is for?

^ ^ ^ See I knew you wouldn't believe me but I really do hate the darned thing. I have it for my convenience, so I can call out when I need to. But I gotta tell you, when it rings sometimes I just sit there and wait to see who's leaving a message on the machine cuz I may not want to talk to that particular person right then. I know, my bad.

^ ^ ^Haha, you're so funny!!

We are way civilized here in Juneau. We already have indoor pluming, electricity, cable TV, stop lights and I have yet to see an igloo!! As far as cell phone service, no I don't have it as stated earlier but every other person I see has a phone plastered to the side of their head so I'm to assume that the service is available here. Unless maybe they're just carrying the phones around in the hopes that the service will come.
