License Plate Frames

Just got one from the dealer for the rear, looking for another cool one for the front. Just wanted to see what others have etc.

So how do you keep from getting popped? I hate front plates, but with the law in California requiring it, I'm sorta stuck. Truck looks cleaner without it.

Do you go 1mph over the speed limit? Tech, your breaking the law why not take off the front plate and break another law

The reason for CA front plate is mostly because of red light cameras, they take a pic of the front of your car

Ironically, you are talking to a guy that got a ticket for doing 56 in a 55 zone. Adelanto police. This was more than a year before they took the chief of police away in hand cuffs...

Locally they will stop you if you don't have a front plate.
Period.
I have been stopped by CHP for no plate, having just bought the car, and having had to leave the custom plates with the buyer.
Cop never saw my missing rear plates, he 'lighted' me in an intersection from the front.
I was legal, as I had the freshly signed pink, etc. in my possession.
He still gave me a ten minute lecture on not driving without the front plate...
Just BS, as it's like window tint, they enforce, but don't believe it themselves. Two cops on my street, both have windows tinted to the max.
Oh well, hoping for some loophole.

here in the central valley there are so many custom trucks and cars the only ones that get pulled over are the imports, so maybe we have an advantage
