.....the drain that most Americans seem to be heading down these days....

I just had a user email me a very "paniced" message.....basically saying that they can not find a file....here is the transcript of the emails that were sent back and forth:

Her: Everything seems to be going fine except that I can’t seem to locate a CHRISTMAS FILE (Whole). Can you help????

Me: Have you done a full system search yet?

Click "Start"
Choose "Search"
Choose "All files and folders"
Type in the name of the file you are looking for in the first box
You can leave the "phase" box empty
Choose the "My Computer" option so that it looks in all the drives

Let me know if this works.

Her: YEAH.

Me: Is there a possibility that it could have been deleted?....was this file on your personal computer or stored on the network?

Her: Stored on "U" but the whole file is gone all of a sudden and its not in the trash can.

Me: Did you delete it?

Her: Yes

Me: Do you need it?

Her: YES!!!

Me: Why did you delete it then?

Her: I did not think it would delete right away?

Me: We don't have that feature...looks like you are out of luck...sorry...
