From the list you have, it would be a toss up between the Grizzly and the Gorilla. Just depends on who got the best blow. A full size grizzly can easily stand over 8'. A silverback (strongest and biggest) of the gorilla family can stand about 7' on average. The bear will have razor sharp claws that could cut and slice, but cant grip like the gorilla could. The gorilla will have superior reach advantage. Its a toss up between those two I think. Theres a bunch of web sites out there dedicated to this arguement.
As far as the other animals......There are a few pics out there floating around that could decide for them. I've seen a set where a horse killed a mountain lion. Kicked it and stomped it to death. Picked it up with his teeth and threw it around some.
I've also seen a series of pics where this lion had killed a pretty good size alligator.
And this pic I have attached Iam sure some of you'll have seen. Its a anaconda that killed an alligator, or so it thought. It swallowed it, and with one last burst of energy the alligator thrashed will inside and split the snake open.

Well, the pack argument is one thing...
I was talking about one-on-one...
Personally, I wouldn't want either chasing me. Especially a bear. They can out run any man. They can out swim us, you can't hide due to their sense of smell, and if you go up a tree, they can climb too, or- push the whole tree down.

If a bear is after you and don't know which kind it is, climb a tree. If it comes up after you it's a Black Bear, if it knocks down the Tree it's a Grizzly Bear.

I'd be going tree to tree like a 300 lb squirrel.
Then, after I ran out of trees, and grew tired of running, I'd have no choice but to stand my ground, and kick that bear's @$$. A couple of rib-shattering rights to the under arm area, along his rib cage ought to let the wind right out of him...
Then, I could walk away...

Man, if it weren't for our opposing grip (Ability to fashion weapons, shelter, clothing, shoes, etc..) we wouldn't have pets, we'd be pets, and, dinner.
