WHich should i buy?????

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

it's a extended or super cab i'm not sure of the differance... 2000 f150 extended or super cab..4x4 Quad cab, off road pkg, K N AIR FILTER SYSTEM,17IN NEW TIRES AND new BRAKES, 55K mi, TOW PACKGAGE , PW, PL, CD PLAYER,penda benliner HE IS ASKING $12000.. He will not go under 11500.. this is from a privite seller

I also came across a 2002 extended or super cab 4x4 Quad cab, off road pkg, 17IN NEW TIRES AND new BRAKES, 47K mi, TOW PACKGAGE , PW, PL, CD PLAYER, rhino benliner this one is from a dealership.. I can get him down to 13000 to 15000 but with this one I get 12 month/ 12000 mile bumper to bumper and i get $1 oil changes for the life of the truck .. It's bacially the same truck but with 8000 less miles and its two years newer.. for a couiple thousand more..???????? I think i should get the 2002 bascially because of the bumper to bumper .... please any thoughts would be helpful....

I'd go for the '02 w/the 1 yr bumper to bumper and $1 oil changes.

The '02 should be a no-brainer in my opinion.

I'd go for the 02. Just make sure you get the warranty and $1 oil changes written in the contract though. I'd also make sure they do replace the oil and filter when they do that though. They might try to skimp on it by just filling the oil because it is $1. I'm not saying they will though. I've heard horror stories about places not changing the filter and stuff like that.

It's too cold here right now for me to be changing the oil myself (my garage is not heated and I no longer have acess to a shop) so I just climb under the truck with a sharpie and write "Change me" on the oil filter, then take it to Ford to let them change the oil. Pretty easy way to tell if they actually replaced the filter

Also, I'd take the '02, hands down.
