Oh jeez some of these comments ...I live in downtown LA (3rd and Wilshire to be exact) . I go to work over towards the Whittier area...yes the traffic on the 101 and 1-5 is terrible. It all really depends where/how far you want to live from the city. Burbank is pretty nice if you want to live relatively close by. The gas prices jumped yesterday from around ~2.90 to ~3.10 (yea not good). But of course being in LA...you'll never get bored. The pacific, the mountains...you're close to both. It's a commonly known fact to those who frequent these pages that yes, I am in fact from NJ. It is also a commonly known fact that I hate this communist hell hole of a state. Once again, it is a commonly known fact that the ONLY place in the entire USofA that I would pick NJ over is in fact Kalifornia. Ironic isn't it??? The only two places that have the KC-10 are the two worst places in the entire country. See, thing is, the two things in life I hate the most (other than the ENTIRE middle east) are liberals & hippies. NJ is crawling with spineless liberal pieces of garbage. KA is crawling with both the liberal AAANNNDD the filthy hippies. This is a monumental travesty of justice. KA is one of the nicest LOOKING places I've ever been & that's saying something because my job entails me traveling the world. It's a crying shame really. KA has the potential to be the hands down best place to live in the entire country. All those natural parks, the mountains, the lakes, all the good looking bimbo's, etc... Too bad the idiots-that-be have just about ruined the place. KA cares more about the rights of illegal immagrants than the freaking citizens that live there. The really funny part about that is the populace bashed the Governator when he tried to do something about it. That says to me that the populace supports this BS and further convinces me that I would NEVER live in KA voluntarily...

I was born & raised in Mount Holly & now live in Browns Mills. At the time I bought my house, this was the ONLY place I could afford other than Wilingboro. Anyone that knows anything about Burlington County NJ knows why I didn't buy a house in Wilingboro...

I'm from Mt Holly. Actually we had a Mt Holly phone number. A Pemberton mailing address. And a Vincentown/Southampton school district. Use to go to football games at RVRHS to watch Franco Harris play. I went to high school at the end of Woodlane Road by the turnpike. I like Mt Holly and always did. We actually lived across the road from the Vincentown Diner.

As for Willingboro my wife and I lived on Sunrise Hwy on the border of Willingboro and Burlington Twp. The Plaza was right around the corner from us. We'd been married and living in an apartment there about 4 months when she came home late from work in the pouring rain on a Thursday night. I was watching Welcome Back Kotter when I heard a loud screaming and pounding on our door. I ran downstairs to open the door and there was my wife, bruised, wet and muddy. She had just been robbed and mugged. It was also her pay day. I called the police, grabbed my shotgun and out I went looking to kill someone. Thank God I didn't find the SOB or I'd probably be in jail today. I had a lot of rage. My wife couldn't go back to that apartment since that night. The manager wouldn't let us out of the lease. My wife happened to work for a law firm and it only took one letter from them to let us out of the lease.

For 20 years my wife would not go out at night alone. Now she goes out at night alone on rare occassions and is very careful where she goes and where she parks. She has never forgotten that night.

If you live in Browns Mills near Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital........well you're a Shoobie.

 

When I bought my house, my realtor REFUSED to even show us houses in Wilingboro. I don't live near Deborah, I live 3.5 miles down the road.
