I would never have gone "yard farming" through that kid's yard that everybody thought was gay during my senior year.

I have old men coming up to me to this day and asking about it.

These nice folks had a yard that you could barely fit an F150 into and we turned it into a mud pit every Saturday night for about 6 months.

3. Did I mention skipping the Army and going to college?

4. I'd have taken one of those football scholarships, even though they were to sucky (athletic) schools. (Ole Miss, Mississippi State, NLU, etc..) Who knows, I might have gotten a Sunday job out of it. (Right choice = College, Wrong reason + Football). Nevertheless, I was smart, so the academics wouldn’t have been a problem either; but I may have gotten a BS degree. (Physical Education, or something like that)

5. I'd major in Business management and minor in Information Technology, then got my MBA in Executive Leadership.

Trying to make up for lost time now (College-wise). This time next year I'll be in my MBA/JD program, if I can maintain this pace.
It's hard being a 3/4 - Full time student, as well as a full time employee, and a dad, father, and part-time employee too. I'm doign well, but I have friends my age that are execs, makign big $, to the tune of 250 - 300K/year. One just got laid off, but he gets his salary for 18 months, as long as he doesn't work for a competitor. He just hired on with another company making more $ than he was making at his old shop, with 16 months of salary still coming from the old job. I had no idea job/careers like that existed, being a country-boy like me.

The military is a good option folks, but- if you're joining the Army, let me say this- don't go in there thinking it'll be easy to get your degree while you're in... It won't be; the mission comes first.

My Uncle did it, but- I didn't consider the fact that it took him 20 years to do it.

Well I did the ROTC thing thinkin' I'd get out after the payback, yet here I am ready to graduate w/ my MSN and owin' the Army another 4 years!!
BUT...
differently at 18.... I wish I would have had more fun and not been so serious.
Definitely would have dated more, worked less, drank more ETOH, study less......and try 5 or 6 year plan for college instead of busting my a$$ in 4.

then again, I'm "a little type A" so I prolly wouldn't have been as wild regardless

oh yea I'd have not bought that first motorcycle

Yo Zoo, How you been? Long time no see!

I would have worked harder in school, not partied ..quite...so..much!

I would have lived with rents and milked tha tsituation for several more years.

I would have bought Radio Shack at $.02 share!!!!
Many many many more of those, but thats my biggest miss for highest ROR though!

I love my kids, so I wouldn't want to miss out on them, but......... I would have waited several more years before getting hooked up with my wife. Likely would have missed out on her because of it though (was practically a speak now or forever hold your peace situation).... So possiable butterfly effect, not worth the risk.

I would have listened closer to the guidance of my elders earlier in life.

I agree with LT. While there may be 1 or 2 small things I wouldn't mind changing, it would affect the outcome of my life today and there isn't much about my life today I want changed.

Gone into politics and now be the President of the United States. I would have taken care of all the problems by now with a few simple programs:

1. Every citizen pay 3% of their gross income for federal taxes which would only be used to fund the military.

2. Other then the military all federal programs would be abolished.

3. All gasoline would be one blend, from the west coast to the east coast by federal mandate. Environmental wackos don’t bother trying to over rule me I am the President and that’s how it's going to be.

4. All homeless people would be moved to the desert, out of sight, out of mind.

5. Put the military on the border of Mexico with orders to shoot anyone crossing, no warnings, no questions, just carry out the damn order.

6. By Presidential mandate make it legal for any “American” citizen to shoot any illegal alien who does not have the proper paperwork in hand to prove they have permission to be here.

7. By Presidential mandate make it a federal crime, punishable by 50 years in prison, for any person, business, or hospital assisting in any way an illegal alien who does not have the proper paperwork.

8. By Presidential mandate make it mandatory for anyone who does not like any of my programs to kiss my butt and say “you’re my daddy”...

The above will not only make America stronger but will put more money into everybody’s pocket that actually deserves it. If you homeless or a loser currently on welfare, oh well so sad, have fun in the desert you slackers…

I would overthrow the government six months after Burts election.

It wouldn't be difficult in fact, I'd probably have to get in line.

Please refer to Presidential policy #8…

Actually I think my President approval rating would be close to 95% – 100%. There are no phones in the desert and who is going to stand out in the hot sun poling a bunch of slackers anyway?

...and so you could not listen to our phone calls.
That just wouldn't fly with the current President.
Which explains his comprehensive plan to provide everyone on Welfare with a cell phone.

Unlike you, he already has intel that welfare and Al Queda are linked.
And both are very close to acquiring WMDs.

Don't you read the papers?

i would have stayed 18 for ever im turning 23 in less than 2 weeks and it sucks. i would have kept my old 93 with the 300-6 in it that i paid cash for when i was 15 and drove it till the wheels fell off and i would have realized how lucky i was to have no payment and have my parents pay for everything hahhaha. o ya and i might have gone to class a lil more, i would have never taken a year off from school and already be graduated now, but ive only got a year left. if anyone is about to start college they should look at majoring in industrial technology its soooooo easy and its actually fun i always enjoy goin to school.

It only becomes more of a struggle. Just gotta role with the punches. Get back up when you're down. We all want to be 18 in one way or another, but life has a way of working out. And we'll all find out one day.........why.
