Hockey....the only sport where I cheered when I heard they were on strike....and damn near cried out of disappointment when I learned they were playing again.

oh c'mon you know it's going Carolina all the way. they only let the oilers win a couple to make a little extra revenue. now it's butt kickin time.

If the Oilers can dominate again like they did last game, they will no doubt be the 2006 Stanley Cup champions. I was only in elementary school when the oilers had Gretzky and won all the cups back in the 80's. But the excitement around here is apparently like it has never been before.

Well, idiots in the NHL gave the contract (err, could only get buyers for the contract) to ONL, and NBC. Love how much they advertise for it.

 

no one can say it is too commercialized.

 

seriously... baseballs a lame-o sport too.

 

Soccer, Hockey, and auto racing are the only sports I care about.

I'm gonna say go Oilers as well since they put down anahiem. I had season tickets included the stanley cup finals if the ducks went.
