What color is your truck man???
Three good friends of mine live in that area; Alan's street was called "Vidalia" or something like that. One lives off of Coit & Hedgecoxe off a street called Grand Canyon, the other is on Russell Creek. Pretty nice houses over in there. Kurt's house (Russell Creek) is 4,200 Square feet, and he had the first 73" TV I ever saw.

Alan's house (Vidalia) was about 2,800 square feet, ($230,000). (McDermott & Independence).

I hear there are major plans for the "Four Corners" area (Custer & 121) where Plano, Allen, McKinney & Frisco meet. I see a new Super Target is being built on the Northeast Corner, I hear they are going to build a performance hall, and a lot of other nice stuff up there. I remember when Custer & 121 had nothing upthere, but the local dump. Now, I have a friend with a house in McKinney (4,800 Sq. feet) in the Stonebridge area. Who knew that folks would be migrating into McKinney?

My best friend lived in Frisco (damn-near Little Elm), in a community called West Falls Village. 5,200 square feet.

I'm doing well, but- I'll be glad when I start making that kind of coinage. when he bought his house in 2002, he paid $340,000 for it. The same house today is selling for $475,000.

All of D/FW Metro's growth is going north.

Yeah, you'll know you're in the twilight zone when Preston Meadow crosses Preston.
Indeed, it'd be hard to miss this truck-

I'll know it, if I see it. but In Ford heaven (Texas), and bad traffic- I may never see it. but those aftermarket wheel flares are not missable.

This is my Ford whip, if you ever see it. The only mods I plan to make is dual exhaust, and a tonneau cover. I might lower it, then again, I may not (probably won't).

(Old, which I'm sure you've seen, it roamed Plano's streets for 5 years, under my hand!)
Still out there, albeit without the rims, and the exhaust pipes now exist right before the right rear tire...
Was on the used car lot for 7 business hours, and 18 clock hours, before it got sold. (41,000 miles)

New:

Man, that was confusing as he** when I first moved up here. All these parks, and Prestons. Was more than a "not from a real city (Killeen)" boy liek me, believed he could handle. Consequently, I ate lunch at McDonalds on Legacy & Coit for nearly a month, before I risked the other streets, and gettign back from lunch late. Then, I realized this is just a big tic tac toe, and now, I know all of Plano, and most of Dallas. I can feel my way around Ft. Worth too, thanks to MapQuest.

Plus, I'd never seen 6-lane residential streets before. All of this crap looked like a freeway, with traffic lights. Now, it's no big deal; except for all the traffic.

Preston/289
Preston Meadow
Legacy Drive
Spring Creek Parkway
Parker
Park
Plano Parkway
Dallas Parkway
Ohio
Midway
Independence
Coit Rd.
Cross Bend
Custer Rd.
Alma
75/Central

They all combine forces to create a major road grid, that is called "West Plano" (West of 75). This doesn't even account for "real" Plano, which is what has always been Plano, and not Farmland (East of 75), and Avenue K (Plano Rd), 15th, 14th, 18th, Jupiter, Shiloh, and more...

Back then, Plano, for the most part, didn't go North of Legacy, Hedgecoxe was non-existant, and McDermott didn't come east of 75, except for maybe 200 yards. Now, Allen is all the way over to Custer.

I'd have it fixed up more by now, but Joe's Hitch & trailer closed their Jupiter & Plano Parkway location. No way am I humping it to wherever they are in Dallas, for some accessories.
