Anyone know about pa systems

I am involved with several Shooting/Sportsmen's clubs in my area.

At the one we are building a new indoor range for the HS rifle teams, we have 11 schools in the county and I think this year coming up we may be the only county in the country to have all of the High Schools have a smallbore riflery program.

Any way the new range is 50x100 feet it will have 12 lanes, it is almost ready to open, just looking for a few things.

We have speakers in the ceiling, looking for a pa system to run them, don't need anything to high power, just to run maybe 4 speakers.

Anyone have any ideas?

Oh forgot to mention, We are damn near broke. actually we are in the hole to the tune of maybe 30K.

Thanks

dave

You want to run four speakers, you only need one input? How many watts are the speakers?

There are a lot of options, especially if you want it simple, you can get something to run it, especially if you want to do used for now, for $100 or something like that.

Not sure of the wattage, but they are probably 8" with grills on them, mounted flush in the ceiling. I think they are no doubt some sort of low wattage speaker, they look like some that I helped to replace in another range.

This is what you need, the ad says speakers do not come with it. It is strong, but like anything else, just because you have the power doesn't mean you have to use it all. They do have volume control on them. This would give plenty of room to expand later, even easily add a portable radio or Cd player and broadcast over house speakers now too.

Peavey XR 600C mixer amp head 300W six 6 channel XLR EQ It's going for $99 right now anyway.

Peavey is a well trusted brand, I would go to the local music shop and see what they have used. Bands are always trading in thier equipment to upgrade. Might could get a local shop to do some trading for advertising. They supply the sound equipment in exchange for a store poster or something to be hung up at the range. Or even a heavy discount for advertisment. Just an idea and worth a shot, especially with no money.
