Anyone wakeboard ?

 

Occasionally. I've done more wakesurfing than wakeboarding.

 

Not yet, but knee board ALOT! Seems to be a lost art, I'm picking up tricks and dazeling myself and others mainly because it's just not seen anymore.

 

Yeah wake surfing is cool too but but it gets a little boring after a while.

 

Well you're obviously not doing something right then... Last time I went we had about 1800 lbs of fat buddies in the back of the boat, plus another 250 up front, and about 350 - 400 lbs of people on the boat. The wakes were HUUUUUGE.

 

We run that just to wakeboard.

Surfing is just a little to slow for My taste but it's a great option when the water is blown out.

 

I do a little wakeboarding on Lake DeGray in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Nothing special...but do enough to say I wakeboard.

 

I just got back from wakeboarding. Awesome trip. Wakeboarding is almost as fun as riding dirtbikes. Never wakesurfed before. Looks super boring going all slow and stuff like that. I want to airchair that looks sick. or the manta ray thing that you can get to fly like 20 feet in the air. That thing look so fun.

 

I tried the Air chair this summer and it was pretty tough to get the hang of it.
I think it took about 10-15 pulls just to get up and then another 10-15 to go a couple hundred feet.

Dude that sucks. Me and my buddy were in west marine the other day and they had them for sale. That bums me out. What kind of board do you have?

 

I ride a old 04 Blindside Blade 142 and 06 CWB Zues bindings.

 

Thats a sick combo. Im running 2006 Hyperlite 3DS 139 L7 with 2004 hyperlite spin bindings. I just picked up the wakeboard for my birthday 2 months ago so i was using the old bindings from my old wakeboard. Im about to pick up some 2006 Hyperlite Parks Bindings but they are expensive so i have to save.

Ya i just started wakeboarding this summer. My buddy got a boat so i had to learn. My dad is planning on getting a boat by next season thats when i will probably get my own board.

 

Love to wakeboard...but the season here in MI is kinda short...about late April if lucky to Mid Oct if lucky
