Ohio State vs. WHO ? (opinions)

Exactly what it says. Who should play Ohio State for the National Title??
Should Michigan get another shot if USC goes down in one of their remaining games? Lets have some suggestions....

I say USC, Michigan already had their chance. Who said college football was about 2nd chances!

. . and Florida should play Michigan just for chits and giggles.

If USC wins out they are in. If they trip up---well Michigan may get another chance to lose to the Buckeyes.

Michigan...

If they are #2, and rightly so, they should get to play #1 regardless if they have played before.

I'd prefer a playoff but no one should vote against Michigan as #2 they earned it.

USC played like crap last week and Michigan nearly won in Ohio...

I'd love to see a rematch.

Once ND beats USC Saturday its a rightful Michigan OSU rematch. Let's face it, USC sucks ***** and would get walloped by OSU. Let's have a good grudge match for the national title...

... on a side note, I can't believe I'll be rooting for ND Saturday..

Michigan. Period. They got beat by the #1 team. USC got beat by who? Oregon? I would accept Texas, but that ain't gonna happen.

I think that someone besides Michigan and Ohio State should have a say in who the best two teams are in college football. Why should Ohio State have to beat Michigan twice? What happens if Michigan comes back and beats Ohio State, who is the national champion?? Co-champions to Michigan and OSU???

Seriously, USC or whoever is SEC champion should probably play Ohio State in the NC game just to verify that Michigan and Ohio State are the best two teams in the country. If Ohio State just whoops the mess out of whoever they play, then I say that Michigan is truly the number two team in the nation and they had their shot to be number one and blew it.

Ohio and Mich would be a real GAME though. USC or the SEC champ would get killed. Ok USC might give Ohio a LITTLE trouble, but I think they would get shut down. I love the SEC, there's no better conference. At the same time I don't think any team down here could run with Ohio.

You will never know until you see it. I am pretty sure that Ohio State and Michigan have not dominated all of their competition. Sure they played an epic game against each other, but they have not done that all year.

Well, we can now see that the voters made the right choice to allow someone else to play besides an all Big-10 National Championship. Ohio State and Michigan both got killed in their bowl games.

I am not a Gators fan, but I have to say GO GATORS!

Not a chance. For a shot at the title, Boise needs to schedule some decent mid-level out of conference teams.

Thank goodness that it was not Michigan/OSU again for two reasons:

1) We wouldn't have found out that UF was much better than OSU or Michigan, which they obviously were.
2) We'd have to listen to more "game of the century" hyperbole. Instead, we got to see both teams get blown out by their out of conference opponent. Neither team lived up to their hype. Remember all the sportscasters that said the real NC game was being played in Columbus in November? How wrong they were.

To Gator fans...
I am ashamed to have started this thread...I thought that maybe the lay off hurt Ohio State, but after some serious brain storming I have concluded that the answer is simple. "The Gators wanted it more and did something about it"..

I guess someone forgot to tell Florida they were supposed to lose. Thats the great thing about football, or sports that matter. You still have to line up and play.
