So who went shopping on Friday?
you know, the Biggest shopping day of the year, Day after Thanksgiving. Anyone venture out into the stores at 5 in the morning?
I did! I always hear about crazy people getting up at crazy hours in the morning to go shopping, so I wanted to try it out this year, and all I gotta say is WOW! I left the house at 4:30am to be at a store by 5 (Walmart) By the time I pulled in at 4:45, there were no parking left at all, tailgaters cooking crap on the back of there pickup trucks, a mile long line of people waiting to get itno the store (not kidding)
By the time Walmart opened there doors at 5am, no matter how many police were there, police could not hold back so many people from running up to the doors and trampling over so many people to get what they want. By the time I got into the store, there was no where to even walk, the store was filled to its limit. It reminded me of a Riot in a lot of ways, it was insane so I got the hell out of that store at 5:30am and went over to Target to do the same thing all over again, but they open at 6AM.
so now I'm standing in line at Target to open at 5:45am, same old mile long line again to get into that store, yup Target opens there doors and the Marathon began, people pushing each other out of the way, people falling on the ground, people blocking walk ways with carts inside the store to try to keep people back. Target looked destroyed 5 mins after they opened the door. I have no idea how they keep people from walking out with stuff un-paid, but somehow they did.
anyone else do anything this crazy in the morning?

The title of this thread should be Did you go shopping Friday or no?
To answer your question, yes I went into Target real quick at 6AM to get a new digital camera.I got in and out as fast as I could because I hate shopping when it's crowded. But I couldn't pass up that deal on the camera and the deal wasn't available online.

I didn't see any deals that were really all that great. Nothing worth putting up with even more of John Q. Public and his bratty kids...
I did however go by Best Buy around 9 with some friends. We just browsed for a few minutes, didn't see anything worth sticking around for and left. The store was still packed, and people were parking out on the street and off in the grass... Somehow we managed to find a close parking space as soon as we got there...
