It's a known fault of mine.
It has served me well though. When the Professor would say, "I want a 5,000 word essay, MLA format, on Maslow's Heirachy of Needs by next week". When other students cringed, I was like, "No biggie".

Slush = Not quite snow, not quite ice, but it packs easy, and is as hard as, well, ice.
You don't want to get hit in the face, or any other thinly padded area with one of our soft ball sized "snowballs". Ahh, the good old days...
We (grown men & women) had snowball fights in the Army, even after First Sergeant told us not too. (January 1988, B. Co. 123rd Signal BN, Wirzburg, Germany).
I threw one at a girl who ducked as the door was opening, resulting in the snaowball "exploding" on the door as it impacted right next to Top's head. (He was opening the door to exit the building). We all turned and ran, and the only reason he didn't know who threw it, was because we were all in MOPP4, including him, and apparently, the girl didn't tell him who threw it either...
No appreciable amount of snow in Dallas since 1997. Not enough for a snowball fight anyway.

When you're wearing the school's uniforms, you represent the school. Since they chose to dress the part, they have to pay the consequences.

God that story was worthless without the pics.
Personally I think they should have let the ho's get away with everything so they think that's how life works, then in 10 years they are all on their knees in some back alley on their knees giving some crusty sweaty old man a beejer just so they can make $5 for thier next quick meth fix. Then the classmates that played by the rules and made something of themselves by treating others with respect can mock them for becoming the dirty ***** that they are. That would be awesome.

Found it: Looks like we were both right... They 'allegedly" did both!

The one girl who got socked in teh face & chest... I never said anything to them, I was just standing there...
Yeah-right. The crowd mentality has shown that even the most docile people will become rowdy, if the crowd is rowdy too.
Chances, in my opinion, that she said nothing to provoke that punch: 0%
But, the law (At least in Texas) states, you cannot be "provoked" to strike anyone from a verbal exchange, and if you do strike a person, and it can be proved, you are guilty of the crime of battery.
I got kicked off a jury for that many years ago because I told the Dallas-County prosecuter I disagreed with that, and would not feel justified in sending the defendant (A girl) to jail for striking another girl in Denny's. They may not hurt physically, but, words will hurt you longer and deeper than a fist ever will. Of course the defense attorne wanted to keep me, but the Prosecution (who seemed to take it personally) said, "Bye-Bye"...
