New Mustang spy shots
I know this is a truck forum, but I also know we have some Mustang fans here. I did a search so I dont think this is a repost.

Dang, they're sneaking ou spy shots of a new Stang already?
She not selling well as-is or something?
Ford, if you make the V-6 mustang look like the V-8 Mustang, right down to the pipes, but- maybe a different wing perhaps- or, give the GT a nicer wing and let the V-6 have the current GT wing...
It'll sell better...
We looked at a V-6 Mustang for about a nano-second before taking the Fusion instead. The V-6, with that black and sometimes white stripe down the side saying "Mustang" screams "cheap".
It might cut into GT sales, but- who gives a crap? If you sell more V-6's, you'll make up for the V8 loss. Those who really want a V8, and can afford the V8, will get a V8.

When we were looking for a better fuel mileage vehicle, I ran across a 3.8 Mustang. 25 mpg, and it's still fun to drive.
It has the wing, nice wheels, great stereo, 4 wheel disk, traction control and all of the power goodies.
For what we bought it for, it's great. I keep the miles off of my supercrew, and actually, my wife loves driving it. Much better in parking lots for sure.
So if we are going somewhere solo, or just the two of us; we take the Stang and really enjoy it. You bet I would have loved having a V8, but for $14,000, it's hard to beat and more enjoyable to drive than a Focus.

I'll definitely be buying a new Mustang before the redesign. In my opinion, Ford can't improve on the aesthetics of the current version (although I'll agree with STX that the rear view of the current model is a bit underwhelming) and will only move away from the beauty of the vintage design......
