Lots. 90% are worthless and I don't even mention them anymore. Many have also expired. I'm at the point certs don't mean much to me anymore, the resume & my experience do the talking.

I'm not getting into a tit-for-tat argument over qualifications. I'm pretty confident in my qualifications and I'm also pretty confident I should probably be holding the router's box while Dzervit installs it. Trust me when I say he knows his stuff.
Congrats on your A+. While I agree with Dzervit that it really is worthless in the IT world, it shows you have at least some book smarts.
I've held Certs and let them expire, I'm getting a degree for the paper, it too will mean nothing.
Your statements about Windows 2000, the Linksys router, and Linux installed base show that you need to really get into the industry a little better.
I think you just need more exposure to the real IT world.
The blanket statements you are making are just not accurate.
Disclaimer: For those sensitive about "arguments" this is not an argument, unless you define that as a difference of opinion.

A lot of linux guys are ga-ga over their O/S. Just as bad as those Mac people. Step back and look at the big picture without the linux blinder glasses on.
Vader, my coffee needs a refill.
I should also add the congrats on the A+ thing. Vader is right, it shows some motivation to advance yourself. That's a good thing. Keep learning, training, and move up the cert food chain until you don't need 'em anymore.

Well, I'm absolutely done with IT.
I am treading water in my current position just long enough to get my PMI and PMP and then going into a different field.
I will be a simple user from now on. I have enough "know how" to get me by on my own, I am done fixing chit for other people and getting nothing in return.
I don't enjoy coming to work anymore, and we all know what that means.
