I hauled a fridge across town last year - I kept it down to 20 mph and my son in law rode back in the bed with it for safety. I like to learn from other people's mistakes!
yea i think of him when i see a fridge strapped in the back of a truck too
here's to good ol' times
I txt'd Jamz a pic of a truck like his carrying a fridge in back w/ a washer (or dryer) sitting on the tailgate. Too bad I lost his # & the pic when my phone took a ****. Said he got a good laugh outta it though.

When I see stuff like this it makes me laugh harder than jamz's story. What is a person that weighs a fraction of the appliance gonna do when it starts to tumble or move around?
Yeah, just be in the appliance's path of destruction.
next time you go to home depot just take a look around lol. i saw a guy last week trying to strap down full sheets of plywood to the top of a taurus station wagon. people will do anything not to have to rent that truck.
you spent all that money and did not even check for scratches, and then you come on here complaining about a little blemish.... the nerve of some people....
