I just set the parkin brake so I can lift up the front and stand the fourwheeler straight up. You gotta be sure to turn off the gas though. Release that parking brake and then roll the fourwheeler up to the truck and let the front tires sit on the tailgate. On a good day I can lift up the back and get the fourwheeler up in the bed but some days I need an extra hand. It's a workout but it beats paying $150 for ramps. This is a only 350 pound YFZ450 though.

I either do the same thing as Captain Morgan, or I have a set of ramps from Walmart, they are 2 seperate ramps and fold up small enough to put inside my truck when I leave to ride. I don't like to back my quad down the ramp, I just pull it to the tailgate, hold the back end up and pull it out so it falls on all 4's...
also bigdad your rappy is 396lbs dry, add oil, gas, coolant and your up to about 430 or so...
come visit www.raptorforum.com, great place for info and if your join VIP you can get in on a monthly prise drawing..

Of course you could always get a 4wheeler that won't fit in your bed! So you have a reason to get a trailer! Its what I did!

Most will haul 4, 4whlrs and 2 bikes, plus have a take along garage, plus have a place to sleep, eat and take a crap!

Yea the straps are more than strong enough and the backrack is a perfect place to hook up to. After 2 tries we found out that this way works alot better.

I used to, when I had a 4WD truck, bury the rear wheels to the axle, and pop a small wheelie into the bed. Then I'd put it in 4LO, drive out of the hole, and fill the hole in with a shovel. Easiest method I ever found.

The only way you can do it is just get a longer ramp and put it under the atv when in the bed and leave your tailgate down, all it needs is one stap to a tow hook to keep it put!
I almost did the same thing on my 2005 660 Raptor. My truck not lifted but it is hard to load a Raptor on flat ground. The thing wants to bottom out going up the ramps. I have to back up against a hill or ditch. Then I put the ramps down and load it.
