Update your spring puppy

If I recall there were quite a few of us that got new pups this spring. Well it's kinda dead around here at the moment. Anyone care to give an update. Here is the progression of Gus.

First part of March when we got him

Five month B-day

Nice lookin pup He a little hellrasier yet?

Dont have a new one myself, though my Golden just turned 8 last month. I believe what my grandad said "If you have one dog you have a dog, two dogs you have half a dog, three dogs you have no dog"

Hellraiser? He sure is!
Little? Not anymore!
Last night he weighed in at 76 lbs.

He is strong as hell too. I'm no slouch at 6'-1" and 215lbs, but he can drag my *** down the road if I get caught off guard. My boys love to wrestle with him until he starts to slobber too much

The only problem is he is litterally eating my house. He has eaten the whole corner off my couch. He ripped a huge hole in my kitchen floor. He chewed a hole in one of the kitchen walls. He chewed the corner off of a livingroom window sill. To top it off he ate one of the legs off my $450 computer desk chair.

He does all this during the day while I am at work. My wife has gotten to the point where she leaves him in his cage all day because she can't control him.

I try to tel her that he will just be more hyper when I let him out at night, but she don't care cause I am home to control him.

I went through 3 pairs of shoes and about 20 sets of laces with mine. Used to love the floorboards, dad wasnt too impressed with that. Once everyone left and since I was still in school then I was the last to leave, soon as I closed the door behind me he would jump up on the couch, he knew I could see him in the window but didnt care cause no one was there to tell him no.

Ya want to kill them sometimes, least till they get past 2

my first Pit cost me 3 couches, 750 refundable pet deposit, that I didnt get back, numerous amounts at the vet...Leave them in the cage, it's cheaper...lol

Im sorry to hear that. I hope I get to enjoy 16 years of his life too. Hes about 19 or 20 weeks now. What an absolute joy. Man, does he ever make me laugh. He's very calm and cool. Not hyper at all.

He's awesome
