I just don't want the can to fall overboard then he fishes it out and ends up with a Naegleria fowleri up his nose.
Indeed, you beat me to it.

LMAO

Well, that sucks then. I just ate a can of New England Clam Chowder (98% fat free).

If I die, at least I was trying to be healthy by eating fat free.

Oh, another thing.....why do they call it "New" England?
Isn't it "Old" by now?

Dunno, but I couldn't imagine myself sifting through the floating fat blobs that normally float on the top of a regular can of soup that has fat

No, Jamzy, you won't die. Most canned goods are cooked in the can as a part of processing, others are cooked prior to putting them in the can. I can't think of a single canned item that you can't eat right out of the can. I can think of some that would be pretty gross right out of the can but they won't kill you. When you "cook" canned soup, you are basically just heating it up because it's already cooked. To actually cook it would require boiling the soup for several minutes, most of the time I heat it in the microwave until it's just warm enough to eat and I don't have to wait for it to cool down again.

You'll live

Quick history lesson.

People from England came there and called it 'New' England.
Likewise a part of England was called York that's where 'New' York comes from.
Also, another part of England is called Mexico and that's how 'New' Mexico got it's name.

I know it all.
If I ever move I'll be, New I knew it all.

p.s. Feel free to impress your friends by sharing this new knowledge with them.

I knew that....silly.

....but, what I'd really like to know is, why I see "1st State Bank" in many towns I visit or pass through.

Shouldn't there be only ONE 1st State Bank? Also, who do they know they're the first?

Each town has it's own ranking system.

No, I'm Batman. Of course I'm not Raoul. You specified no name in your comment. I replied. You got a problem with that?
