Well, that sucks then. I just ate a can of New England Clam Chowder (98% fat free).
If I die, at least I was trying to be healthy by eating fat free.
Oh, another thing.....why do they call it "New" England?
Isn't it "Old" by now?

I can't think of a single canned item that you can't eat right out of the can. I can think of some that would be pretty gross right out of the can but they won't kill you. When you "cook" canned soup, you are basically just heating it up because it's already cooked. To actually cook it would require boiling the soup for several minutes, most of the time I heat it in the microwave until it's just warm enough to eat and I don't have to wait for it to cool down again.

People from England came there and called it 'New' England.
Likewise a part of England was called York that's where 'New' York comes from.
Also, another part of England is called Mexico and that's how 'New' Mexico got it's name.
I know it all.
If I ever move I'll be, New I knew it all.
p.s. Feel free to impress your friends by sharing this new knowledge with them.

....but, what I'd really like to know is, why I see "1st State Bank" in many towns I visit or pass through.
Shouldn't there be only ONE 1st State Bank? Also, who do they know they're the first?
