Proud to be a Texan

Texas Pride

A recent study found the average Texan walks about 900 miles a year.

Another study found Texans drink, on average, 22 gallons of beer per year .

That means, on average, a Texan gets about 41 miles to the gallon.

Kind Of Makes You Proud To Be Texan. :-)

I might be at the average as far as walking but in the drinking category I am WAY above average. I agree that I am in the single digits maybe even under 1mpg.

1 mpg = 13.1 beers/day. I seriously doubt you are anywhere near that.

That's less than 10 cases a beer a year. Weak I tell ya. I usually drink at least a case a week unless I'm camping or at a race. Which then it is at least 1 case per day. Maybe it's not weak and I drink too much, oh well

I dont drink beer usually. I drink Jim Beam. I usually go through 2 handle bottles a week. But I share with my friends sometimes. I do drink an occasional shiner.
