well the past few days ive been thinking alot about my future as a mechanical engineer mainly because i was starting to wonder if this is the right field for me so ive been looking around at job opportunities and there were some that caught my eye but then i began to wonder about being an engineer for ford and so i looked on thier website and they had some stuff about careers and internships and that was really apealing to me (other then the fact of moving to michigan)

but anyways back to my question are there any ford engineers on the site? or even employees that are high up?

if so whats it like? what do you do? and most importantly hows it pay?

My buddy is an engineer for Honda. He designs the suspension for the Acura SUV and Honda Ridgeline.

 

Not me Personally, but my Uncle works for Ford. He make parts for the Engines that go into the Ford Taurus and Mercury Sables. He is been in it now for 30 years now, getting ready to retire.

I don't know exactly how much he makes an hour, but its a Union job, full Benefits, retirement fund, and has been able to raise a family of 5 all on his own thanks for Ford. So I imagine its very good pay.
