side airbags are more important in a small vehicle. I wouldnt be worried even if my truck didnt have airbags. My truck weighs roughly 6000 lbs. I am not worried about a civic hitting it.

Anyone have some pictures of what the XL is supposed to look like?

The next vehicle purchase for me will be a replacement for my current daily driver '97 Ranger. I've been thinking about another Ranger (if it's still around), a Sport-Trac, or maybe even a "stripper work truck" version of the F-150.....???

If there's nothing out there that I like, I might just take over the wife's '05 Escape as my everyday vehicle, and get her a new Fusion or Taurus.....???

Oh my, that front end is ugly. I think I will stick with the 97 to 03 models. The headlights on that thing looks like the new Jeeps. I do like the interior though.

They know they will never again make anything as visionary, stunning and perfect as the '97-03 style F150. I look at that new thing and all I see is some slight front end changes compared to the current model. Think I'll get a Lightning next.

It may have multiple changes, but it sure looks the same if you don't look at the headlights or taillights!
