I'm trying to help out a friend with finding a home for his Pitbull. Long story, but the dog is at my local dog shelter and could get put down if it can't get a home in time. I telling everybody I know about this dog, but not having too much luck.

I was wondering if you guys can help me find like a Pitbull Rescue that takes them in to keep them from being put down. I'm looking but I'm having trouble. I'm in the Tampa Bay area so I'd like to find one close by if I can. BTW the dog is 6 and has already passed its personality test so he's good for adoption.

Perhaps try putting a "free to good home" ad in Kijiji?

Around here they only get 48 hours before being put down.. It's horrible.
