he's not bragging.

people wanted to know when he bought it and now he has enough mileage to calculate his MPG.

That's very good gas mileage. Is there something about engine design that they've changed in the 08 Taco from the 07?

I find these new EPA ratings are quite accurate. They give the Tacoma an average of 17 mpg, which is pretty darn good.

I checked the EPA on my truck, and it indicates an average of 14 mpg.

Glad you're happy with the new truck, but it ain't an F150

I do drive mostly highway, not much stop and go driving. It's mostly 18-19 mpg, but I have gotten better on long trips.

After taking some time to think about it, I probably do get close to your mileage on the highway. I haven't figured it out for awhile but I know I get around 14 MPG in the city, that should put me pretty close to your numbers.

True. These trucks aren't that bad on gas in my opinion. I mean, it is a truck. And if I couldn't afford to pay for the gas I'd still drive it.
