well as some of you may know i sold my f150 a month or 2 back and got a 2008 tacoma double cab v6 4x4. some of you asked what the differences were. well in the ford i got about 13-14 mpg ( 2005 ext cab 4x4 5.4 ) and in the toyota im getting about 18-21. so there are my results for the gas mileage

so if your so worried about gas milage, why didn't you buy a prius? how much can your toy carry and tow? DIDN"T THINK SO.

well i didnt buy a prius because i need a truck to tow my quads snowboards bikes and friends. also some people may not need a big truck to tow a fifth wheel. the biggest thing ill ever tow is my dads boat which is 3500 lbs which i did 2 weeks ago anyway. look im not looking to start a internet fight so dont try to start one, just sayin what some people asked for a few months ago. sheesh.

 

Does it matter how much it can tow if he doesn't tow with it? If the Tacoma gets better gas mileage and does what it needs to do for him... it's still a truck. He can throw crap in the rear end and tow 90% of what most people tow with a truck.

I'm not here to argue either, but you came back on a Ford forum bragging about your mileage. Prepare to get flamed.

 

Flame this guy if you want to, but he seems pretty damn smart to me. He traded for a truck that does what he needs it to do, gets 30-50% better gas mileage (thus saving money, and he gets Toyota reliability as well. Make fun all you want; it works for him... He's just stating a fact.

 

Wow 4-7 miles per gallon, that's incredible..You should post this on the who gives a sh-t forum..

 

because the current rangers on the new car lots are a total joke, for rillz.
