Just my luck ...
Well after driving hours and hours to go see a orthopedic specialist, it has been determined that I'm going to have to go under the knife once again. As many of you know I severely broke my back and my foot. I was paralyzed for a short time and than regained feeling. I have nerve damage in my right thigh. I also have a fused L1, L2, and L3. The L2 suffered a complete crush fracture which had to be rebuilt from a bone graph from my hip. My foot was smashed into pieces, including my talus bone. I actually had to be flown to another hospital because the first hospitalhad no idea how to fix my foot. They were just going to cast it and let it heal, hopefully. Thankfully, I saw a orthopedic trama specialist that repaired it.
I've seen many doctors in the past 3 years since I've been in pain ever since. I've been told just take pain medicine, you're going to have pain. Well finally I got a little different answer. This doctor believes I need to have the hardware taken out of both my foot and my back so this is going to be exciting to have to go through the same crap again.

that sucks man. My knees are naturally ****ed up. Patellefemoral pain syndrome. Its where over time if you sit in the same position it feels like pressure or pain is building up in your knees and oyu have to stretch them out every short amount of time. My back is ****ed up from lifting things in work or at home to the point where slight movements like a slight bending over shoots pain up the lower middle of my back. After the sharp pain, itll ache for hours and just hurt in general. Gonna have to go for an x-ray or MRI soon enough, not lookin forward to what theyre gonna tell me. I cant imagine what youre going through tho. Its tough having to go to different doctors and to be told to do different things. My dad is going through the same thing with doctors telling him to do different things, and has before. Just have to go with your instinct and listen to one and see what happens.

i know i am going to sound like an old fart but todays mx track are rediculous.
30 years ago a 100ft double would have been stunt show material.
every sunday that we go to the track the ambulance shows up at least 3 times. the Houston motorcross board is full of sad stories.
my son just started riding and i got a bike to ride with him. we try to get there early before the big boys show up and i ride looking over my shouder the whole time.
When i was 20 most tracks had maybe 2 sets of doubles. Now they are full of doubles, triples and at least one "oh chit double" like the 100 footer that thump is describing.
i have fun jumping 15 to 20 foot doubles but i slow down and leave the 40 plus footers alone. Of coarse I am not 20 years old and bullit proof anymore.
hope all goes well. i know it is not the same but i destroyed my knee and it took 3 years before i walked with no pain. to me injuries like your just take time and retaining your mind of things you just shouldnt do. at your young age that has to be a b!tch.
