And No, i never got a hold of the guy with the harley, I called four or five times always got his voice mail, he was asking 6k under the KBB of the truck, so im sure it went fast.....
It was rubbery, but also felt a little like plastic or PVC. Regardless, not metal like I am used to.

yea i think its not metal for cost, and for noise, and longevity so it wont rust out. Didnt your factory ones have a similar style/material boot on them?
