Good morning
You also must not know that the lake was named after Ray Wylie.

Morning Pam and Pat. Pam I put 100 rounds through my .45 for the first time in a year last night and lets just say I need to practice with that gun more before the 25th of April.

No, if I had been drinking, I would have done all three verses. Just heard it on the way home and it was in my head. One of my favorite Ray Wylie songs. The story behind it is kind of funny, especially when he tells it at a show. It seems he had written songs for a new album and was recording. He finished, thought he was through, but the producer told him he needed one more song. That the cd needed to be about 41 minutes, not the 38 that he had. So, he took a 15 minute break and came back with this song.

I been writin all these songs,
Thought I was through, but I was wrong.
I hit this chord on a mandolin,
Now I'm back up here again.

I don't know why I do what I do, I just do.
Don't ask me why, I wouldn;t tell you if I knew.

Is ammo hard to find up there? It is down here right now. Everytime I go into Academy I go back and check the prices and to see what's in stock. Lots and lots of bare shelves. You'd better stock up on some hard ball and get busy practicing!

I am going to buy ammo on Thursday when I get paid and I am probably going to buy 300 to 400 rounds if they have it. I havent picked up ammo in about two months but I havent heard much about a shortage up here. I have about 150 rounds in .45ACP left. as well as about 150 rounds in various calibers for my rifles.
