Short block authorized, FOC. Rod was bent to hell. Having them replace the remaining injectors at my cost. Calling Ford CS when I get home to do some price reduction schmoozing.

All I did was ask for close-up pics of what he was calling "minor scratches" before I drove up there. Never heard back from him. I can only assume that the scratches weren't quite so minor after all.

I figured that it bent a rod when you said you needed a short block

Aint that the truth. I just ordered some Harley style heads for the truck from E-Bay and my Whelen 4 corner strobe kit should be here this week as well as my CB Parts. Next up is the Harley Grill and a new Ford emblem for the front.

well since you know some of the guys at the shop, and if you know they can do it right, i wouldnt complain too much

Its running quite well right now and I think it was just a couple of sticky injectors and it has cleared its self up after I ran some PS Diesel 911 through it. Yupp this this is going to look sweet when I am done with it.
