By back way, I assume you mean 1187 to Whiskey Flats. There's another back way that goes by Pecan Valley golf course.

I'm glad they did a good job on it. They did it quickly, too.

Yep, went 1187. Last time we went by the CG. I've hit that course a few times, mostly the Hills course.

Yeah, they got the block sometime Wednesday and I called Thursday after I got home from work and Landon said it was ready. They had just gotten back from the test drive, went 40 miles. I was shocked they got it done so fast. I bet they enjoyed working on it, since it's something they don't do much.

When I first started playing golf, I lived down the road from Pecan Valley. Played there nearly every Saturday morning. Would put my name on the list and play which ever course came up first.

Actually 3PM.

I started on the yard at 8AM this morning, finished around 12:30. Yardwork is a good workout. I added to the brushpile for the city to pick up, trimmed some more red top photinas. Cut and trimmed the yard. Moved the smoker and the doghouse in the backyard. Had a lot of weedeating to do.

We played the River course with a couple of young oriental guys once. I hit a drive so long they nodded and said to me Oh, John Day-ree, as in John Daly.
