rainy day today

 

Not just rain here, lots of lighning and noise! Been going on since about 4:00 this morning.

 

yea it was drizzly and humid last night. Just started pouring.

BTW anyone seen the brail google logo today?

 

Good morning! Getting ready for all the bad storms that Jim is sending this way.

 

Morning Pam! I passed my CCW course Saturday now I just have to pay the county and do all that good stuff and I should get my permit in 4-6 weeks.

Thank You, even if I would not have passed I came away with alot of good information from the class in both the class work and the shooting that is going to help greatly. I have already been looking at holsters and lock boxes for the house and truck as well as a new carry gun. My wife has been rolling her eyes at me all weekend.

 

Ok - I'm not going to preach a sermon about protecting yourself - all I will say is that I am VERY glad I had my gun with me the night a man walked up to me as I was getting into my truck in the Wal-Mart parking lot asking for money and a ride. He just kept getting closer and closer and wouldn't stop - until I told him I had a loaded gun. Turns out the guy had just been released from jail and was later arrested on the parking lot for robbing another customer.

 

Hooray rain.

 

I wonder if that thief has any idea how lucky he is?

 

I know where you are coming from and this is why I am going through the process to get mine. I am going to try and take my wife to the range with me in the near future and try and get her involved in my hobby and she also knows why I am doing this.

Lunch time! I'm having Subway today. A 6" melt on Monterrey cheddar bread with lots of veggies and jalapenos.

 

When i was in HS we had a guy steal a bunch of stuff from Kohl's late one night just before we closed, we all knew what he was up to. Turns out he was released that morning, and was back at it all day, and we caught him. :o
