When you take her to the range - be sure to take a firearm that will be comfortable for her to shoot. If she's not used to firing a handgun, she'll probably need something smaller to start with. If you start her off with something too big, she may have trouble handling it and keeping a firm grip on it - it could scare her and make for a bad experience and she won't want to go back.

I know I am looking for a smaller gun for my carry gun instead of my full size 1911 .45ACP. I am thinking about a Berretta .380 or something along those lines for her to learn how to shoot on or maybe start her on my .22LR just to get her used to pulling the trigger and it has a Bi-Pod so its pretty easy to handle and has absolutly no kick to it.

Front yard of my boss's lake house... Apparently the Rolls can't handle the hills too well and blew a radiator.
