Morning

Truck is at the glass shop. Dog is at the vet. Boss has called 3 times already on his way to Dallas about emergency case filings. CRAZY morning.

I know! She would never forgive me if she heard me call her a D-O-G.
The vet called - he finished taking her nail off and has her all bandaged up and on some antibiotics. He seems to think it will grow back. I bet after this experience she will be a lot more careful when she's running and playing on the deck.

Maggie ripped out a nail a couple of months ago. She was running like a demon around the yard and ripped it out either on a rock or flower bed edging. She was bleeding badly, I thought she had cut her paw. She didn't act as if it hurt much and it has not grown back. She's maggie Nine Toes now.

That's exactly what Dolly was doing. She was running so hard that when she jumped up on the deck she went sliding across and hung her paw/nail in the decking. It made me sick when I saw it hanging off. I guess I have a nine-toed Dolly now.
