Something like this...
Thanks Z. I'm not really loving that particular grill, but we're working on a different one for sure. I agree about the headlights and have already been advised on the bug shield. I'm also ordering new shocks and Pat's going to do the 2" shackles too.

Yeah, mine originally had that grill too. Swapped it out for those Lund Beefy Billet Grills, got em off ebay for like $120 way back when.

Almost lunch time, going to Imo's Pizza.

Whats wrong with bug shields? I am about to buy another one for the truck because I dont want the hood all chipped up after having it repainted. It may even have the words move over in reverse on it.

I forgot that they were 5 lug, won't fit my truck.

Those wheels are causing you to spend some mod money.

It's needed to be done for a long time - I just never could get motivated. Then - I got the wheels and it was kind of like when I go buy a new pair of shoes - I have to buy a new outfit to match the new shoes - so the truck has to have some new stuff to go with its new shoes, too. (That's justification from a ladies' perspective).

The plan right now for her truck is either a Patman grille, a honey comb Expedition or a Lightning type grille, painted red with a read grille surround. The grey plastic above and below the chrome on the bumper will be painted red. She will lose the bug shield(has to, LOL). If she just has to keep the bug shield, she has been advised to paint it red, as well. New Bilstein shocks and a 2" shackle drop.

Oh, and if she ends up with a grille that has the Ford emblem, that will probably get a red overlay.

dang Pam i didnt know you had solid black mirrors on your truck too. It must be a very very early 03 then without any of the painted stuff. When i bought my silver 03 from the dealership they said the painted handles, mirrors, grill shell and bumper pad is standard equipment on XLT trim.

The wheels look great tho! Hows the ride with them? Notice the brakes feel a little weaker?

Maybe it was the first of the 2003 red litter? I have not noticed the brakes feeling any weaker. I do think that bumps in the road are a little more noticeable.

It just got really dark outside - looks light night time - and the weather sirens are going off.

She has a bunch of miles on it and has had no problems. You won't believe how it started it's truck career.
