Pat, what brand 75w140 gear oil should I use? And will Motorcraft friction modifier work with any gear oil brand?

I like Castrol, or MotorCraft

and if you wanna wait a couple weeks for the work you could come out to Rowlett and i could lend a hand

All I can find at oreilly is RP $18 and AZ M1 is $17(per quart). I suppose MC is just as high at the dealer.

I'm gathering parts right now. I assume it'll be allright for a while, since there will still be fluid in there. I dunno.

yea a slow seep like that you should be fine. LMK i can get castrol through LR once i start up there, not sure on the weight tho. I also can probably get MC cheaper then you can through Ford.
