Should be quite an awakening for him that's for sure. He's had the run of the place for about 5 years now.

We figure it's a good time to get a dog. My son stays home during the summer so he can take care of it for another month or so during the day until he goes back to school. The twins go to boys and girls club but they'll probably want to stay home too, after we get the dog. Actually, I'd rather they stay home. One of them just broke her wrist there 2 weeks ago. Ran into a wall (duh) playing sharks and minnows. Whatever that is!

Its like gas, you dont really want to know
My Golden goes through 1.5 to 2 of those huge dog food bags a month. Plus the heartworm pills, shots... I dont think it really is that much. He is pretty low maintenance money wise. I would never take him to those professional groomers.

The dog will be an easy way to keep them busy, and happy.

That cat thought he owned the house, after he finally came outta hiding he became the pups body guard. Followed that dog around everywhere and chased anything and everything out of the yard before the dog left the door

Maggie is not exactly a dog. She is more a dog person. She eats very healthy food that costs $30 for a bag, 20#. Heart worm pills are $41 every 6 months. Her regular 6 month check ups and shots are about $100 each time. We spend a few dollars here and there for treats, collars, leashes, bowls, etc. Probably another $100 per year. We have never had her groomed, do that myself and she has never been in a kennel. Bought her a winter sweater that she will not wear, $20. That is all I can think of. I'm just glad shes only 17#s!

Very pretty cats Dave. The faces on these animals are to die for. I felt so bad when I was eating before work last week and my brtohers dog was trying to climb up my leg and have me share. He wouldn't let me and I felt bad

TR cracks me up because he does this little whimper when he jumps off my bed. he hits the ground and makes an audible "urrmph" in kitty language

No blue, he does that everywhere, i think its more comfortable for him because of his size.
